Bolton’s Fund is an investment programme for the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector in Bolton, bringing together funding from Bolton Council, NHS Bolton Clinical Commissioning Group, Bolton at Home and Bolton CVS.

 

The six fund priorities of the fund are driven by Bolton’s Vision 2030. The priority areas of focus are informed through Bolton’s Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA), co-design with communities and community intelligence:

 

  1. Children getting the best start in life.
  2. Promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing ill health.
  3. Empowering everyone in Bolton to reach their potential and take control of their lives.
  4. Fair employment and good work for all.
  5. Protecting and improving our environment to ensure a healthy standard of living for all.
  6. Stronger, cohesive, more confident communities, in which people feel safe, welcome and connected.

Bolton Community Homes Investments

Bolton CVS is working with the Bolton Community Homes (BCH) partnership to deliver their Community Investment Grants.

Charities, community groups, organisations and individuals are invited to apply for grants to help support projects that will benefit BCH customers.

Grant Size – up to £1000 for organisations  and micro-grants of up to £100 for individuals.

Closing date – No closing date. The fund will remain open if funds are available.

The Big Local is a lottery funded program for Tonge with The Haulgh in Bolton.  The programme brings together all the local talent, ambitions, skills and energy from individuals, groups and organisations who want to make their area an even better place to live.
