Commission Opportunity: Clean and Green Project – Environmental Sustainability Support for Bolton’s VCSE Sector

Bolton CVS is inviting Expressions of Interest from professionals or organisations to deliver the Clean and Green Project, a 12-month initiative funded through the Local Authority Flexible Grant Project.

The successful applicant will:

• Consult with VCSE organisations to identify environmental priorities, barriers, and opportunities
• Co-design a tailored Environmental Sustainability Package aligned with the VCSE Strategy and commissioning readiness
• Deliver training, tools, and resources to build capacity across the sector
• Provide 1-to-1 support and establish a Community of Practice to share learning and best practice
• Create a legacy resource to ensure long-term access to tools and knowledge
• Strengthen partnerships and avoid duplication by building on existing work

Total Commission Budget: £30,000 (inclusive of all delivery costs and VAT)

Additional Support: £2,731 for digital legacy resources and £14,000 for VCSE sector investment (administered by Bolton CVS)

Project Duration: September 2025 – August 2026

EOI Deadline: Sunday 24th August 2025

Panel Interviews: Week commencing Monday 25th August 2025

Decision Notification: Friday 29th August 2025
