Organisation description: • Our Mission- Redress the imbalance of future generations facing adversity and prevent vulnerable people becoming detached from communities. • Our vision- Alleviating barriers to learning, widening participation, creating social impact for NEET (16-24 year olds Not in Education, Employment or Training) and the whole community in person/online through careers, education, information, advice and guidance, supporting informed decisions. We aim to prevent health implications by raising well-being awareness and encouraging mobility through activities and workshops. We endeavour to provide taster courses to enhance numeracy, literacy, digital, and care skills in an effort to signpost to training/FE to amplify our impact. • Our Values - All with due respect to social values, social equity, protected characteristics, sustainable and environmentally friendly. Overcoming barriers will help to achieve their aspirations through innovative outdoor and indoor activities. • Inclusivity: We are committed to providing a welcoming and supportive person-centred environment for all, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, children whose parents are or have been in prison, widows, widowers and refugees/migrants. • By creating awareness and educating communities, we aim to prevent self-harm, knife crime, substance abuse, drug pushing and misuse, homelessness, gender-based violence and discrimination. • Innovative: A 10 week mentoring service incorporated with short taster courses, sign posting to free online courses, communication workshops ensuring participation and opportunity for all. This will help vulnerable individuals overcome challenges and achieve their career aspirations. • Outdoor Activities: Hiking, inclusive mobility cycling, padel tennis, Pilates, visiting allotments and Lancashire wildlife trust green spaces, and team-building exercises to improve confidence and problem-solving skills. • We offer online and in person awareness workshops, finding work experience opportunities, mentoring, careers coaching, counselling, revision, UCAS application support, UKCAT test practise, Pathways To Medicine, scholarship, university clearing day support, apprenticeships application and interview support. • Support to access free online courses, neurodivergent tests and job searches. We can tailor our programs to meet the individuals needs by providing a personalised support plan. We can also provide SEN Advocacy to parents who require help with EHCP’s. • We can provide crisis support to families on low income and preventative support to improve wellbeing, reduce hardship and strengthen communities. This will prevent homelessness, loneliness and avoid people engaging in criminal activity. • An interpreting service will also be available via a pool of volunteers who speak Urdu, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, Hungarian and Arabic.
