Organisation description: The organisation shall be called Bolton Development Scheme, hereafter referred to as the “Association”, and will be affiliated with various sports governing bodies. It is a not-for-profit organisation based in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton. The Association seeks to foster and promote multi-sports activities for the diverse communities of Bolton, welcoming all young people (girls and boys) at all sporting levels and abilities. It aims to address issues of social exclusion affecting young people and adults within the community, working in partnership with statutory services to enhance the quality of services available to young people in Bolton. The Association will provide coaching and competitive opportunities in multi-sports, promote the club within the local community, and ensure a duty of care to all members by adhering to adopted policies and procedures.
