Bolton CVS are thrilled to be hosting Proper Good – a programme of free-to-access business support, designed to help your social enterprise diversify, develop and thrive. The programme runs across four areas in Greater Manchester – Bolton, Oldham, Stockport and Wigan – offering a brilliant opportunity for social enterprises from across the region to connect.
Our Bolton programme hosts locally-delivered networking, training and events that are led by entrepreneurs who know how to run proper businesses that do good in their communities. All with the sole aim of supporting the social enterprise sector in Bolton to flourish.
You can check out our programme of workshops and events here.
Alongside this support, we are working with our social investment partner, Key Fund, to make sure you have access to the right funding at the right time for your social enterprise. Whether you are looking to scale-up, grow your staff team, invest in new systems and tech or buy an asset, social investment could be the cash injection your enterprise needs. If you’d like to find out more about investment and if/how it could work for you – please get in touch for an informal chat – propergood@boltoncvs.org.uk.

You can get involved with the programme if you have a proper good idea or business that aims to make a positive difference in Bolton. No matter what stage of the journey you are on – from start-up to scale-up – we will have some support for you.
Whether you are an entrepreneur with an innovative idea, or a well established charity looking to diversify your income, get in touch at propergood@boltoncvs.org.uk to find out how we can work alongside you to do what you do, as well as you possibly can.
