State of the Sector 2021

Bolton State of the Sector 2021

If you missed our launch event, you can find a recording of the event here, and the presentation slides here.

Bolton State of the Sector is a significant and important piece of research commissioned by Bolton CVS,10GM partners and GMCVO. It was conducted by the Centre for Social Health and Research at University of Salford and forms part of a wider report spanning across the whole of Greater Manchester.

The 2021 report presents us with a realist evaluation of the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise sector. It analyses the significant social and economic contribution the sector makes in Bolton and follows from previous research conducted in 2017. It increases the understanding of the voluntary sector and provides valuable evidence to decision makers of the important social and economic contribution the VCSE Sector brings to Bolton.
