Information provided by Bolton’s Safeguarding Children’s Partnership

Keeping children safe during this difficult period is a key priority, see attached a letter from Bolton Safeguarding Children Partnership outlining their response to Covid-19 and the multi-agency safeguarding arrangements that will operate during this time.

They believe you have a key role in supporting the partnership to communicate important information to all practitioners working in Bolton.

They are asking you to share the attached letter as a matter of urgency through your communication networks in any organisational/sector bulletins/briefings you produce relating to Covid-19.  The safeguarding arrangements guide will be reviewed and updated weekly, as a minimum, or as and when a significant change occurs.  It is essential that practitioners check the partnership website regularly to ensure they are using the most up to date version.

These are challenging times but they are hoping they can count on your support to continue to keep children in Bolton safe.  If you need anything further, have any queries or identify a gap or inaccuracy in the guide, please do not hesitate to contact Shona Green, Bolton Safeguarding Officer by telephone on 01204 337964.

See attached Safety Advice for those at Risk of Domestic Abuse who are self-isolating information leaflet, please share this with practitioners where you can.
