Local community organisations can take up the challenge to win a £100 grant for their work in Bolton
Bolton CVS is delighted that charitable donations made at Bolton Law Society’s 2013 Late Summer Ball will be used to make six grants of £100 to local community groups in December 2013.
Stop Press: Due to the positive reaction to this opportunity we've been able to add £600 raised from our AGM raffle in conjunction with Barclays Bank and also £3800 from our own BIG Bolton Fund Investment Income, which will mean 50 organisations will receive £100!
The concept is simple – use this short form to tell us what your organisation could do with £100 during the winter of 2013/14. It can be for any purpose so long as it will make a positive difference to the lives of people in Bolton.
Members of Bolton Law Society and Barclays Bank will choose applications to receive a grant.
Who can take up the challenge? To be eligible, an organisation must:
§ be either: a constituted voluntary or community group
a registered charity
a registered social enterprise
§ be based in and of benefit to people living in the Bolton local authority area.
To be considered for a £100 grant, return your completed form no later than 12 noon on Wednesday 4th December 2013 either:
- by post to £100 Challenge, Bolton CVS, The Bolton Hub, Bold Street, Bolton, BL11LS
- by email with a subject line “£100 challenge application” to email@example.com
Successful applicants will be notified on Friday 13th December.
Please note this grant is entirely separate from our Small Grants Programme. Any group meeting the criteria can apply regardless of their income or if they have already received a grant from us this year.
