Health, Care & Wellbeing Engagement Programme

The Health, Care & Wellbeing Engagement Programme brings together providers from the community and voluntary sector and partners. It provides an opportunity to network, share information, inform developments in health and social care and share good practice. The series of workshops and discussions are chaired by Leigh Vallance, Chief Executive of Bolton Hopice and the Vice Chair is Shabeen Rehman, Chief Officer of Asian Elders Resource Centre.

POSTPONED The Importance of Breast Screening and Being Breast Aware
Tuesday 7th April 2020, 10:00am - 12:30pm 

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK for Women. The earlier breast cancer is diagnosed, the easier it is to treat. Tracy Collard, Cancer Screening and Improvement Lead for Bolton and Bury will be coming to the Bolton Hub to talk about breast care and the importance of screening. A Mammographer will be available to answer any of your questions about the screening process and dispel any myths. Register here.

A Conversation With Helen Lowey, Director of Public Health

Health and Social Care in Bolton is going through a period of exciting change and development.  The leadership of key partner organisations across the borough have committed to investing in capacity from local voluntary and community sector leaders to support the voluntary and community sector to be part of this change. Come along to the Hub to meet and greet Bolton’s VCSE Leaders, find out more about their role, what they've been doing and ask any questions. Our Chief Executive, Darren Knight will also be providing the latest updates on the Integrated Care Partnership and Neighbourhood Model.
