Willow Hey Community Project
To encourage community involvement, to develop and deliver safe and sustainable
recreational and social activities that tackle food poverty, social isolation and
unemployment, including food growing, social activities, environmental projects, arts,
woodland crafts, joinery/construction projects and training, community consultations,
health and wellbeing, social activities, life skills, citizenship, personal resilience,
community events and volunteering opportunities within and beyond the Willow Hey
Community Project site.
To promote the programmes and activities at Willow Hey site to the wider
community to maximise community engagement and involvement. To promote the
Willow Hey Community Project to partners and potential partners, and to other
organisations with the same or similar objects.
To ensure that the Willow Hey Community Project benefits all members irrespective
of gender, age, ability, religious belief or ethnicity.
Men in Sheds: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 9:30-2:30 pm
Woodworking Skills: Monday/Wednesday 10;00am-1.00pm
Food Growing and Sharing: Thursday 10.00am-4.00pm
Women's Group: Friday 10.00am -1.00pm
