This introductory session will cover the who, what, where and when to help you to find your followers and grow your reach online. We will cover the main social media channels, exploring differences in demographic data, posting frequency and content style.
By attending this session, you will:
- Learn the importance of considering who your audience is and what they are interested in
- Develop your knowledge of the main social media platforms
- Understand how to tailor your content to each platform
- Be able to identify when your followers are most likely to be online
This session is aimed at voluntary, community or social enterprises who are new to social media. You may be thinking of promoting your cause or services on social media but aren’t sure where to start, or you may have a presence on social media but you aren’t confident of how to grow your audience.
