Come and share your views and ideas on what should be included in the next Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE)Strategy for Bolton.
The last VCSE Strategy was launched in 2019. Since then, we've seen many changes including the impact of austerity, Brexit, the Black Lives Matter movement and the COVID pandemic. During this time, we have seen the real strength of the sector in Bolton - it's passion, determination, flexibility and ability to mobilise quickly.
We want to design a new strategy that recognises the challenges but also the strength and incredible social value the VCSE sector brings to Bolton.
We're interested in finding out what are the key challenges for your VCSE group now and the things that would support you to overcome them.
What should the VCSE sector's relationship with the public and private sectors look like and what would create the right conditions for the sector to thrive and grow as an equal partner in delivering local services to people and communities in Bolton?
Come and share your views and help us design a strategy that ensures the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector continues to have a strong voice and is valued for its' amazing contribution to the social, economic and environmental wellbeing of Bolton.
Facilitated by Helen Tomlinson (Head of Services and Performance), Elaine Butt (Governance and Safeguarding Senior Officer) and Rob Bakewell (Grassroots Development Officer), Bolton CVS.
