All voluntary groups need to keep proper accounts, this session will demonstrate basic processes and give you the tools to develop your book-keeping skills.

Session content will include:

  • Why groups need to keep accounts
  • Basic requirements for a good book-keeping system
  • Recording Income & Expenditure
  • Bank Reconciliation & producing a Balance Sheet
  • Managing Petty Cash
