Bolton CVS is working with Bolton at Home to deliver their Community Investment Grants of up to £500.
Organisations can make one successful application between 1st July 2018 and 31st March 2019 up to a maximum of £500. Organisations can not recive both a
Tonge with the Haulgh Big Local Trust Grant and a Community Investment Grant unless they are delivering work in an area other than Tonge with the Haulgh.
Who our grants are for:
To be eligible for our grants, your organisation must:
- Be a not for profit community group or registered charity with a constitution or basic set of aims and rules for your group signed by at least two members.
- You must have a bank account in the name of the group (not an individual) with 2 signatories that are not related.
- Propose a project that will primarily help Bolton at Home customers

What these grants are for:
The funding is to support projects that will benefit Bolton at Home customers, making a difference in their lives and local communities. Funding can help you in many ways, for example, to buy new equipment or materials, to run a community event, to launch a new group or to help promote existing groups locally.
There is a £500 limit for our Community Investment grants but we expect applications for the real costs of projects rather than the maximum grant available.
When to apply:
Deadlines for 2018/19 are 5pm:
1) Monday 1st October 2018 deadline extended to Friday12th October 5pm
2) Wednesday 13th February 2019
Results will be released 4 weeks from these deadlines. Grants will we paid on the last Friday of the Month following notification of the decision.
All applications must be submitted through our online grant application.
To make an application, first of all you need to create a Bolton CVS website account here.
· You will then receive an email to confirm this has been created.
Now you will be able to log in to our website using your email and password here. Then you will see the "User menu" on the left of the screen where you can click to start a grant application for the Bolton at Home Community Investment Grant.
You can save and return to this form and will be able to view it again once it's been submitted.
