Winter Warmer Grant

This grant is now closed.

Do you have a community area or a park near you that needs warming up over the winter? Would your street benefit from a splash of colour?

Grant Aims
For a limited period only, you can apply for up to £250 through the Creating Cleaner Greener Communities “Winter Warmer” grants pot to spend on winter bulbs or to create colourful winter hanging baskets and containers to brighten up your local area, with up to £25 towards hot refreshments for volunteers on the day of planting.

Important: These grants are only available in November and December 2009.

Who Can Apply?
The grant is available to voluntary and community groups, schools and not for profit organisations and is aimed at projects taking place within Bolton.
