Submit information for e-shot

The Bolton CVS e-shot

Bolton CVS produces an e-shot each month that is recieved by many hundreds of community and voluntary groups in the borough of Bolton. If you would like to submit information for inclusion then please ensure you have read the details below before you make your submission.

What you can include:

  • Text (your copy) sent to us electronically - as a guide, this should be no more than 150 words
  • Images – such as your logo or promotional pictures. Images should be of good quality and in GIF or JPEG format. File sizes should be reflective of online usage e.g. each image sized at around 75kb
  • 'http' links to information hosted on your web or elsewhere - It is really useful to use live links so we can accompany the e-shot with follow-up blogging and tweeting to help promote your message to the widest possible audience
  • Dates and location of your event or services
  • Contact details - your email and telephone number so people can get in touch with you directly

We cannot accept:

  • Flyers or ANY information that would require Bolton CVS to make an attachment to the e-shot.
  • Ready made e-shots that you ask Bolton CVS to send out on your behalf

Further points to note:

When submitting information for an e-shot, please be aware that:

  • Priority will be given to member and associate member groups before non-member groups.
  • Bolton CVS reserves the right to resize and edit images and to sub-edit information (copy) if needed.
  • By submitting images, you are granting copyright permission for Bolton CVS to reproduce the images by e-shot or by any other online or print medium that we may choose to host your content through (such as Web, Twitter, Facebook etc)
  • Bolton CVS cannot guarantee information submitted will feature in our weekly e-shot & further reserves the right to decline the use of any information submitted if deemed to be inappropriate
  • By submitting information you are agreeing to have read and understood the terms and conditions set out above
