Outreach

Our outreach worker recruits, interviews and refers people to their chosen field of volunteering, and also assists in supporting voluntary organisations with good practice so they can cater better for their volunteers.
 
We also do workshops on the benefits of volunteering at local schools, colleges and higher education establishments. Again, if you are interested, please contact us. Volunteering is an ideal way to develop life experience, learn new skills, make new friends, gain work experience, etc. It is ideal for students, whether long-term during term time or short-term in the holidays.

Outreach Centres 
 
The Volunteer Centre Bolton now has outreach posts up and running in Horwich, Farnworth and Westhoughton.
 
These outreach posts enables local people to obtain information on volunteering without having to travel into Bolton. We are interested in volunteers to help us develop our outreach services. For further information, please contact the Volunteer Centre Bolton on 01204 546060.
