“Sent on behalf of The Deputy Mayor, Policing, Crime, Criminal Justice and Fire”

We are currently developing a Greater Manchester Drug and Alcohol Strategy which will set out our ambition to significantly reduce the risk and harms caused by drugs and alcohol.

In developing the strategy we have worked extensively with people working in criminal justice (such as the police and Heads of Community Safety), those working in health (such as Directors of Public Health, Substance Misuse Commissioners and Public Health England), as well as people working for relevant charities, and of course those who have personal experience of the harms caused by drugs and alcohol.

Now we want to find out whether what we have developed so far chimes with what you think. We would be really grateful if you would take a few minutes to complete our online survey to tell us your views so we can – together – create a strategy that will significantly reduce the risks and harms caused by drugs and alcohol.

The online survey can be found at: https://www.gmconsult.org/police-and-crime-team/daa and is open until midnight on Sunday 13th January 2019.

We’d really like to hear from as many people as possible, and so we’d be really grateful if you would encourage your networks, friends, family and colleagues to take part too.
