As you may know Macmillan have in the past provided a grant stream to enable engagement and involvement activity as well as the funding of start-up and development stages of Support Groups. This grant stream has now been refreshed and we are looking for people living with and/or affected by cancer to co-design an Evaluation Panel for this new Support Grant.
We are looking for six people who have a lived experience of cancer to take part in this exciting opportunity to co-design and get involved with the evaluation panel. This will ensure that the activities we are funding through this grant are meaningful, inform future developments and support people living with cancer in the North West.
Who can be involved?
- Anyone with lived experience of cancer
- Anyone living within the North West region
- Anyone interested in evaluating Macmillan Support Grant funding
Two introductory/awareness sessions have been arranged on:
Wednesday 21st November 2018 - 10:00–2:30 Warrington
Wednesday 5th December 2018 - 10:00–2:30 Manchester
- We will provide all travel expenses and refreshments on the day.
- Your local Macmillan Engagement Lead will support you on the day
