Business Award and The BIG Bolton Fund Endowment Challenge
Recently Bolton CVS was delighted to win the prestigious Bolton and Bury Business Award, Community Section, sponsored by O2. The award recognised work linking with the private sector to encourage the development of a long term endowment fund which will be able to provide small grants for groups in Bolton forever. At the moment Bolton CVS has the opportunity to match pound for pound any donations up to a maximum of £103,000 by the end of March 2011.
Karen Minnitt, Chief Executive of Bolton CVS said: ‘We know that times are very tough at the moment but if anyone feels they can help us to achieve our target of raising £103,000 then every penny is welcome! Secret millionaires are especially welcome in our hour of need!’
