The BIG Bolton Fund want your support for the Mayor’s Mile, new date set!

The BIG Bolton Fund want you to take part in the Mayor’s Mile taking place on its rescheduled date of Sunday 2nd May 2010 to help raise vital funds that will make a difference to the community now and in the future.

Karen Minnitt, Chief Executive of Bolton Community & Voluntary Services adds, “The Mayors Mile is a great way to get the community on board to help raise money for The BIG Bolton Fund which doesn’t just help one cause in Bolton but many community and voluntary groups as well as supporting the Mayor’s chosen charities. Since April 2009, we have distributed over £450,000 in the Bolton area and we want that giving to continue. At the moment, we are able to get match-funding from the Government so we are encouraging people to get involved and make a real difference. So, a £10.00 donation to The BIG Bolton Fund can be worth upto £25.60.”
