Health and Care Together

The Health and Care Together Team provides specialist support to third sector groups (including self-help groups) working in health and social care in Bolton.

Having a Voice: We encourage and assist health and care agencies to consult with voluntary and community groups, through setting up various consultation events and training days.

Newsletter: We provide a specialist newsletter 3 times a year to 300 self help/voluntary groups and health professionals. Articles are welcome from groups to publish in our newsletter. Read our latest edition by clicking Newsletter.

Health & Care News supplement: Two pages in the CVS newsletter JUMBO, five times a year, circulated to 1800 contacts.

Self Help Directory: We produce a directory of health and care related self-help groups and voluntary organisations that are active within Bolton.

Support & Help: We provide information on groups/organisations for people experiencing or affected by conditions or situations.

Health, Care & Wellbeing Forum: Health and Care Together facilitate the Health, Care & Wellbeing Forum which is held bi-monthly.

Swine Flu: This page was set up as a resource for information on identifying swine flu symptons, and what to do if you or someone you know shows signs of the illness. Links are provided to NHS sites and leaflets you can use to inform other about the illness.
