Assessing Mental Capacity & Making Best Interest Decisions
A unique opportunity to learn about the Mental Capacity Act and get practical guidance to improve your practice around decision making. The training will be provided by the theatre company, Aftathought who will enact scenarios relevant for professionals.

Objectives: What to do when a person appears to lack capacity to make decisions for themselves; How to assess a persons capacity if you were asked to do so; When a Best Interest Decision can be made?
Aimed at: All team leaders, managers and front line practitioners; This course will demonstrate the skills you need to undertake mental capacity assessments and Best Interest decisions.
