The drop in is run in a very informal manner in a spacious, well equipped building. For a couple of quid we provide fantastic food made in our new kitchens and will cater for all diets. There are other people to get to know and things to do. Day trips and links to further recreational activities are provided, usually for a nominal fee or free if possible. In house activities include a writing group, a painting and drawing group, indoor games like pool and carpet bowls, table top games and quizzes. Bingo is banned!
We have links with other agencies and can help deal with a wide range of problems. Confidentiality is always maintained and both staff and members are very supportive of new members (and each other). Our drop in is run by a committee that all members are a part of, therefore everyone has a say in what we do and how we do it. We shortly hope to be online with internet access for all, for free. If you are reading this for the first time and are suffering from lifes problems we hope to see you soon.
