Welcome to The Community Engagement Team

The Bolton CVS engagement team are committed to delivering quality work in partnership with local organisations. Some of our award winning work includes working with NHS Bolton to reduce the health inequalities that exists between the most affluent and most deprived areas of Bolton.

Our work involves:

Consultation
Developing participative projects
Delivering workshops and presentations
Empowering and educating local people with knowledge and skills on issues that could affect them
Supporting people to self care
Promoting signs and symptoms of common diseases and cancers so people identify and act, sooner rather than later
Promoting relevant screening and health services
Supporting people to identify positive and healthy lifestyle choices

In doing this work we aim to make Bolton a happier and healthier place to live.
