From setting up an account to publishing engaging content, this course will explore the basics of running social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter and more.


Keeping in mind your audience throughout the session, you will discover which social media channels work best for your organisation. 

This interactive course will take you through lots of tips and advice on how to make the most out of your social media account.

 By the end of the session, you will:

  • Understand the importance of segmenting your audience 
  • Understand the key features of several social media channels
  • Be able to identify which social media channels work best for your organisation
  • Be able to run social media campaigns on minimal budget
  • Have a basic understanding of how to write a social media strategy


Aneeqa Javed who is a digital marketing consultant based in the North West, with a particular interest in marketing for social causes.

During her professional career she has gained experience in social media management, creating and implementing marketing and communication strategies, audience analysis and segmentation, managing campaigns, delivering training sessions and events management.
