We are delighted to welcome back Geli Berg to deliver this one day Storytelling for Social Value course. This interactive workshop will help you write case studies with personality, compelling funding applications and insightful evaluations.

Storytelling skills are valuable when describing the journeys of people that benefit from the work you do.  This session will enable you to demonstrate the value of your work to a range of audiences, through your stories of change, social value and impact.

During the day you will learn how to identify stories worth telling, be introduced to the various styles of storytelling and how they can be used, and learn how to address any legal pitfalls which may arise.

Course facilitator Geli Berg holds a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and worked as a public relations consultant and workshop facilitator in the corporate, retail and arts sector for several years before retraining in radio production.  She presented Cultural Collage on ALL Fm Community Radio in Levenshulme for 13 years, setting up her own social enterprise, Lingua Franca World Community CIC in 2010.  The company aims to bring diverse communities together through arts and heritage projects. Her organisation was a finalist in the 2017 Manchester Be Proud Awards for Bringing Communities Together.
