Anti-discriminatory practise mental health and mental wellbeing

This training was developed as part of the THRIVE partnership project in Bolton. It is designed for staff and volunteers to develop a better understanding and gain confidence when working with young people who are experiencing mental health conditions.

The workshop is suitable to anyone from a voluntary, private or public sector organisation who wants to improve their knowledge and understanding in regards to mental health, mental wellbeing, young people’s mental health conditions and recovery pathways in Bolton.  

 

Aim of the session:

  • Understanding of the term mental health
  • Understanding discrimination
  • Understanding  the term well being
  • Understanding of the links between mental health mental wellbeing
