Strong Foundations - Information Governance and Data Protection (GDPR)

All organisations are now required to comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). Aim of the course – To support organisations to gain an understanding of their responsibilities regarding data protection and information governance.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. An opportunity to reflect on your current working practise and to identify areas for development
  2. To have the information and tools to begin putting into place any necessary process to protect information within your organisation
  3. Draft an Action Plan for your organisation
  4. Better understanding on a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) and what this means for your organisation
