All Year Round Events

Skydiving

Are you finding life a little boring? Are you looking for thrills, adventure, or even just something a little different to do? Then we have just the thing for you. We're looking for people from all over the country to get involved and skydive. The great news is that you can jump for free - all we ask is that you raise a minimum level of sponsorship.

Think how amazing it would be to close your eyes and stand at an open doorway 10,000 feet from the ground, then feel the rush of adrenaline as you leap into a free fall at over 120 mph! Then the canopy opens and you glide through the sky, absorbing the tranquil atmosphere, while knowing you're supporting a worthy cause.

Why do a jump? You can choose from two different types of jump:

Tandem Skydive: A 'Tandem Skydive' is so called because you freefall through the air harnessed to a professional instructor.

Accelerated Freefall Solo Skydive: This skydive is the first part of a professional skydiving course. You will have a full day's training from two qualified instructors before you skydive solo from 10,000 feet!

What's stopping you? Too scared? You will be jumping with a trained professional, so don't be. Feel too old? One lady jumped at the age of 85, so that's no excuse! Too unfit? Anyone can take part, and we promise you will have the experience of a lifetime!

The Mayor of Bolton's Charity Mayorathon
Date: 12th September 2010
Leverhulme Park, 11.00 am - 3.00 pm

A number of events for participants of all ages:

* Sea, Army and Air Cadet Challenges
* Charity stalls
* Army, Fire and Police displays
* Bouncy castle
* Children's activities and characters
* The Shree Swaminaryan Gadi Pipe Band
